Marquee 2

Not to bad so far, but so plain! Let's spice it up a bit!

If you leave the Size area alone, your marquee will fill  just about all of the table.

The repeat box will dictate how often your marquee will perform. Check continuously if you want it to just keep going, kind of like the energizer bunny!

Ok...we said we would spice up our marquee, here's where that starts!
Background Color: Choose a color, any color, but remember, contrary to what we might do in this tutorial, you really do want it to compliment your page. (Oh yea, it's time to make that table invisible.)

Look! Nobody can miss my marquee now! Or can they???

Right click on the marquee, choose Marquee Properties.

When the dialog box opens back up, click on the Style button in the lower left corner. This dialog box will come open. By the way...this is the same dialog box that will open any time you click the style button on any dialog box.

Click the Format button in the lower left corner.

First, we clicked on Font....We changed the font to Lucinda Handwriting and made it bold. We also chose a really dark red. Notice how the letters are a bit choppy? Be very careful when choosing yours...you really don't want that.

OK...next lets put a border on our marquee.

That's it! We have a finished Marquee! Or do we???

Yes, we have a finished marquee, but let's face it, it's really ugly! Right click on it, choose Marquee Properties, and lets make it "fit" the page.

That's much better!

Remember, the worst thing that can happen is...
you won't like it, and you'll have to change it!
