Tasks

Taking Advantage of the Tasks View

After you finish up with the web wizard, your web will open in tasks view. Tasks view is a very needed feature for any web. We use it for notes and reminders to ourselves and each other.

I split the screen t make it easier to read. The Description box (on the right) is attached to the far right of the above view.

Tasks view is pretty self explanatory. There are 3 tasks listed. The red dot indicates that they have not been started. When a task is completed, it will have a green dot.

The dialog box above is available to create, modify and assign tasks. It too is self explanatory. You can right click in task view to gain access to this dialog box, or access it via Edit - Task, in the menu bar.

The tasks view is a built in scratch pad. You don't have to keep a ton of sticky notes and other assorted scraps of paper laying around to remind you to "do things" to specific pages or the web as a whole.
